The short answer
A free, good-looking invite and a headcount, with text blasts to guests and ticket sales.
A party that needs planning as well as an invite: checklist, budget, vendors and RSVPs in one place.
PartyPal is an AI party planner: you describe the party and it writes the timeline, the checklist and the budget, suggests vendors near you, makes a theme moodboard and sends invitations with RSVP tracking. Partiful is a free invitation app: you make an event page, share the link or text it, and guests RSVP without an account.
The difference between PartyPal and Partiful is scope. Partiful covers the guest side of a party. PartyPal covers the guest side and the planning side in one place.

Which one to pick
When Partiful is the better pick
Partiful is the better pick when all a party needs is a good-looking invite and a headcount. Partiful does that for free, and its text blasts reach guests who never open email. Partiful also sells tickets, which PartyPal does not.
When PartyPal is the better pick
PartyPal is the better pick when the party needs planning as well as an invite: a birthday with a caterer and a cake to order, a baby shower with co-hosts, a graduation party with a budget to keep. PartyPal writes the checklist with due dates, splits the budget, drafts the quote requests to vendors and keeps the RSVPs next to all of it.
